The Aromanian Language Although many are not aware, Aromanian culture has existed for decades before it became a dying language in Southeastern Europe. Today, many individuals and organizations are working to preserve the Aromanian language before it goes extinct in hopes of also preserving linguistic diversity and tradition. While only 350,000 speakers remain worldwide, Aromanian culture connects people across seven countries, numerous dialects, and all generations.
